Unit Histories: Famous Regiments series
This well-known series was founded by Leo Cooper in 1968 whilst still with Hamish Hamilton (who published the first several volumes). Each title is written by an established military historian under the series editorship of Brian Horrocks, and Cooper used this early success to establish his own eponymous publishing house which handled the continuing series - over sixty titles in all. All are much collected; signed copies are particularly sought after.
