Roy. 4to., First Edition, with a coloured frontispiece, 15 fine coloured plates and very numerous illustrations (a number full-page) in the text, and endpaper maps; blue cloth, upper board blocked in blind and lettered in gilt, gilt back, covers unevenly sunned at head and tail of backstrip else a very good, bright, clean copy in unclipped but very worn dustwrapper, the latter with loss at upper edge of front panel (eliminating most of title) and upper edge of rear panel.
Beautifully illustrated studies of seabirds and sailing. Scarce, especially in the dustwrapper.
