One of the most successful submarines of WWII, the 'Tally-Ho' completed no fewer than nine operational patrols in the Mallaca Straits, normally considered too shallow for underwater sorties. Very good in its account of the operational difficulties of those waters; contains much other anecdotal information about RN submarines at war. The first edition is scarce in this condition.
