THE BINDING IS SIGNED ON FRONT LOWER DOUBLURE. The author's first book for children; this original edition is far scarcer than its later US counterpart with illustrations by Tasha Tudor. A BEAUTIFUL COPY IN A NOTABLE SIGNED BINDING. VERY SCARCE.
