3 vols., 8vo., First Edition, on laid paper, with portrait frontispiece in photogravure (original tissue guard present) and 27 maps (a number folding) in separate volume; navy cloth, upper boards framed and blocked in gilt enclosing regimental badge in gilt and colours, gilt backs, uncut, upper joint of map volume split (but binding entirely sound), a very good, bright, crisp, clean copy.
The standard history of the regiment in the Great War. The Coldstreams fielded three battalions , all of which went to France and remained there throughout the war.
