Douglas Reeman created his pseudonym Alexander Kent specifically for this series, which follows Richard Bolitho (and later Adam Bolitho) through the Napoleonic Wars; thus 'To Glory We Steer' (Hutchinson, 1968) is the first book under this pen name.
