Folio, First Edition, on laid paper, with mounted coloured frontispiece (original tissue guard present), title in red and black, 15 fine mounted coloured plates (all original tissue guards present), and numerous monochrome photographs in the text; blue pebble-grain cloth, upper board blocked with Royal Standard and lettered in gilt, bevelled boards, gilt back, gilt top, uncut, expertly rebacked with old backstrip laid down, a very good, bright, clean copy.
