8vo., Sole Edition, with an engraved frontispiece, 33 plates, a full-page plan and 2 folding maps (two on japon), several pedigrees (a number folding) and 3 double-page tables in the text, endpapers, fore-edges and one map lightly spotted; original pictorial buckram gilt, gilt back, uncut, covers very slightly sunned and faded else an unusually bright, well-preserved copy.
Sold from a cathedral library with its neat cancelled bookplate on front paste-down. Very nice copy of a very scarce work.
