8vo., with a frontispiece engraved by Watt after Bonnington (original tissue guard present), fine title-vignette engraved by Booth, 6 fine engraved topographical plates and an engraved portrait, neat inscription on blank preliminary; handsomely bound in contemporary red half calf, marbled boards ruled in gilt, decorative back gilt extra with five raised bands, compartments richly tooled in gilt with a thistle between four floral sprays, second compartment with morocco label lettered in gilt, all edges marbled, marbled endpapers, very neatly rebacked else a bright, firm, virtually spotless copy in splendid period binding.
