4to., First Edition, on Marais paper, text in French, with coloured lithographed frontispiece, title and text in red and black, coloured title-vignette, 7 fine coloured lithographed plates and numerous smaller coloured illustrations in the text; original plain ivory wrappers, unclipped dustwrapper under glassine overlay, textured ivory case with red cloth back, backstrip with paper label printed in red and black, the whole housed in publisher's printed board slip case, the slip-case very lightly browned, a near fine copy.
EDITION LIMITED TO 500 NUMBERED COPIES (THIS COPY NO. 202). The lithographs are by K'o Shuang-sho, coloured by Roger Nervet and produced at the Marci Studio, Brussels. The Chinese characters in the text are by M. Lin Chi Han. VERY SCARCE IN THIS CONDITION.
