One of the three 'Wayside Pocket Guides' of the Wayside and Woodland series, Coward's 'Birds of the Wayside and Woodland' was distilled from his original three-volume work, (1920-26) and first published in 1936. Several times reissued, it remains one of the best and most popular volumes of the famous series. Very uncommon in this condition. See Marren, pp.196-7.
