10 Edw. 7 & 1 Geo. 5. The Wimbledon and Sutton Railway Company Ltd., incorporated in law by the present Act, continued in operation from 1910 to 1925. When, in 1923, the Southern Railway Company was formed by merging the five major southern lines (and several smaller operators), the Wimbledon & Sutton fought to stay apart. It was one of the last to remain independent before its inevitable absorption in 1925. VERY SCARCE, ESPECIALLY IN THIS CONDITION. Not in Ottley.
