Dustwrapper artwork by Kenneth Farnhill. The story of Jan Baalsrud, one of a team of Norwegian saboteurs attacking a German aircraft base in Arctic Norway. Howarth's account of Baalsrud's multi-faceted escape is the basis of Arne Skouen's feature film 'Nine Lives' (1957). VERY SCARCE IN THIS CONDITION. Enser, p.299; Law 0892.
