THIS SET WAS FORMERLY IN THE LIBRARY OF LT.-COL. S.P. FEARON: LOOSELY INSERTED IS A T.L. FROM FEARON TO THE AUTHOR, TOGETHER WITH A.L.s. FROM THE AUTHOR IN REPLY AND FURTHER T.L.s. FROM FEARON. The correspondence refers to clarifications in the text of the first volume (in particular to the timing of the Japanese invasion of Malaya and the Fall of Singapore). Lt.-Col.
