8vo., First Edition, with coloured frontispiece (original captioned tissue guard present) and 24 fine coloured plates (all original captioned tissue guards present), some mild spotting, neat signature on front free endpaper; original dark green cloth, upper board and backstrip framed blocked and lettered in gilt and black, gilt top, uncut, a very good, bright, crisp copy.
Published simultaneously with the A&C Black edition, but considerably scarcer. The work was produced by Juta to whom Black paid a commission on sales. SCARCE IN THIS CONDITION. Inman 135.
