With 40pp publisher's catalogue dated March 1905 [second state] at end. Rickett's cover design represents a bird escaping through prison bars. Wilde's final prose work, written from Reading Gaol and published five years after his death. The unexpurgated text was not published un til 1949. Mason 388.
