8vo., First Edition, with portrait frontispiece, 45 plates on 30, 15 maps (5 double-page) in the text and folding coloured plan, some faint offsetting from fold-ins to free endpapers; navy blue cloth, gilt back, blue top, boards very lightly faded at headband else a very good, clean copy in unclipped, mildly age-soiled dustwrapper , the latter chipped with minor loss (not affecting lettering) at head and tail of backstrip.
